Dr. Jamie Moon
Dr. Moon is one of our dedicated orthodontists near Ashland, and she has well over a decade of experience creating gorgeous smiles! Her studies began at the University of Oregon, which is where she completed her undergraduate degree. Next, she attended the Columbia University School of Dental Medicine, graduating with her Doctor of Dental Surgery in 2007. In order to become an orthodontist, she also completed a 3-year residency in Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopedics at New York University. If all of these accomplishments weren’t impressive enough, she is now board-certified through the American Board of Orthodontics as well!
Since Dr. Moon is a member of several professional organizations, including the American Association of Orthodontists, the American Dental Association, and the Worcester District Dental Society, some of her time outside the office is committed to continuing education. However, she and her husband are also raising three children, so she loves spending as much time as possible with her family. Here’s a fun fact about her: she is fluent in both Korean and English!
Dr. Sam Alkhoury
Dr. Alkhoury currently has nearly 30 years of experience, and he looks forward to many more years of helping his patients achieve healthy, beautiful smiles. As for his studies, he attended Boston University, which is where he graduated with honors with his dental degree. The next step for him was to complete his residency in Advanced Education in Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopedics at New York University. Impressively, he received recognition from the American Academy of Orthodontists at this time for his outstanding work! All of these years later, and he is as committed as ever to continuing education, which is why he is a member of professional organizations like the Massachusetts Dental Association, the American Academy of Orthodontists, and the American Dental Association.
When he isn’t at our office or pursuing continuing education, Dr. Alkhoury enjoys spending time with family, traveling, and cheering on the Red Sox!
